Biography
2021-22 (Senior) – Played in games 29 games, earning the start in 24. Competed in 111 games and has scored 815 points in four seasons. Scored a season-high 24 points twice during the season, at UC Davis on December 1 and then again on February 3 against Pepperdine. Tallied back-to-back 20-point performances towards the end of the regular season, scoring 22 points in a win over Loyola Marymount followed by 20 points at home against San Francisco. Was named All-WCC Honorable Mention.
2020-21 (Senior) – Started all 18 games and finished second on the team in both scoring at 11.4 points per game and rebounding at 6.2 per contest. Led the team in steals with 30 and was ranked third in the WCC in steals per game. Had a career-best 28 points at Loyola Marymount, hitting 10 of 16 from the field, including six of 11 from three-point range. Played a season-high 40 minutes in the double-overtime loss at BYU, finishing with nine points and five rebounds. Hit all nine free-throw attempts and scored 16 in a 76-69 win over San Francisco at home, assuring a winning season for the Tigers. Had a career-best 13 rebounds in the win over Westmont after matching his career-best with 10 boards in the victory over Montana State in the previous game.
2019-20 (Junior) – Appeared in 33 games for the Tigers, averaging 3.0 points and 2.9 rebounds per contest. Scored a season-high 13 points at Santa Clara (1/18) on 5-of-10 shooting in 23 minutes and grabbed a season-high 10 rebounds in a triple-overtime thriller against Boise State (11/23) in 44 minutes.
2018-19 (Sophomore) – Bailey appeared in 31 contests for the Tigers, averaging 5.8 points and 3.0 rebounds while shooting 39.8 percent from three. Scored in double figures four times with a career-high 22 points and 11 boards against Pepperdine (3/7) in the first round of the 2019 West Coast Conference Men’s Basketball Tournament.
2017-18 (Freshman, Pima College) – As a freshman, Bailey was selected to the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Division II All-Tournament team after helping the Tucson-based program to a 31-5 record and an appearance in the NJCAA Division II National Championship game. Bailey appeared in 34 games for the Aztecs, averaging 11.3 points, 7.4 rebounds, 1.6 steals, 1.4 assists, and nearly one block per game.
High School – Bailey graduated from Monroe Catholic High School, where he averaged 12 points and 9.5 rebounds en route to being named All-State for the 2015-16 season.
