Biography
2016 (Redshirt-Sophomore):
In her return to the floor following a redshirt season, Shelton appeared in all 30 matches and was the Tigers'' best passer, averaging a team-best 7.48 assists per set. Her 222 total digs on the season were good for fourth-most on the team. Andie had a tremendous all-around match in Pacific''s loss versus Georgia Tech on August 27 as she had a season-high 15 digs along with 48 assists and five kills in eight total attacks. She contributed 55 total assists in Pacific''s 3-2 win versus Oregon State on September 10 and, two matches later, put away seven kills in eight total attacks with no attack errors in the Tigers'' straight-set victory over Cal on September 16.

Andie redshirted the 2015 season.
2014 (Freshman):
For Shelton, her first season saw her split time with Pacific''s captain in the middle of the offense as the first-year Tiger set from the back row while junior Kimmy Whitson took front row duties. Her play from the back-row earned her All-Freshman Team honors at the conclusion of the season. Shelton ended the year with a team-best 673 assists (6.35) while helping the Tigers to hit .249 as a team. Defensively, the freshman added 195 digs as she recorded five double-doubles on the year including three in conference play. Shelton introduced herself to the collegiate scene early as she recorded her first-career double-double against then No. 5 USC on the first weekend of action after posting 26 assists and 12 digs. She ended the year with five double-doubles including three in WCC play.
High School:
A 2013 Under Armour Girls High School All-American, Shelton starred at Ripon Christian HS in Ripon, Calif. as the starting setter and outside hitter for the Knights for the last four seasons. Early in her high school career Shelton set herself apart from the rest as she was named a finalist for the 2010 PrepVolleyball.com National High School Freshman of the Year while leading her team to a state record 14th CIF section title. For her play Shelton earned all-area honors from the Stockton Record and Modesto Bee and was a First Team all-league selection. A year later, she earned Modesto Bee Player of the Year honors along with Southern League MVP honors as a sophomore. In her second season, Shelton led the Knights to a second undefeated season and to their 15th Sac-Joaquin Section championship. As a junior, she again led Ripon Christian to a Southern League title with a 15-0 league record and a runner-up finish in the section championships. In her final season of high school volleyball, Andie was named the Record''s All-Area Volleyball Player Of The Year after after leading the Knights to their fourth consecutive unbeaten season in the Southern League. Shelton had team highs with 202 assists, 181 kills, 37 aces and 27 blocks. She hit .323 and was third in digs with 103 as she led the Knights to the Division IV quarterfinals.
Outside of high school volleyball, Shelton was a member of the Delta Valley Volleyball club. Additionally, she has been a stalwart at the USA Volleyball High Performance Championships as one of the top-30 players and one of the top-3 setters in the country. She has also been a member of the USA Youth National Program throughout her high school career.
Personal:
Andie Shelton is the daughter of Michele and Tiger Shelton. She is majoring in sports medicine in at Pacific.
