Biography
Madison Parrish finished her Pacific career fourth on the Tigers’ assists per game (4.0) list, 11th in three-point percentage (.347), 14th in assists (248), and 17th in made threes (83) in just two seasons. She averaged 10.2 points per game as a Tiger. Scored in double-figures in 39 of her 62 games at Pacific.
Senior (2014-15)
An All-West Coast Conference Honorable Mention selection, Parrish started all 31 games for the Tigers. Averaged 9.7 points per game (25th in the WCC) and led the WCC in assists at 4.3 per game. Finished third in assist-to-turnover ratio at 1.7. Also ranked in the top 15 in three-point percentage (.348) and three-pointers made (1.3 per game). Scored in double-figures in 16 of of 31 games. Scored a season-high 18 points in a win at Saint Mary’s (Jan. 10). Posted her first career double-double with 16 points and a career-high 10 assists against Santa Clara (Feb. 26). Handed out five or more assists 13 times, including seven assists (without a turnover) against Utah State (Dec. 16), seven assists (against one turnover) against Loyola Marymount (Jan. 1) and seven assists against Portland (Jan. 22). Connected on a season-best four three-pointers against San Francisco in the WCC quarters (Mar. 5). Tied for the team lead by creating 13 and-one opportunities.
Junior (2013-14)
In her first season with the Tigers, Parrish started all 31 games, averaging 10.8 points per contest (25th in the West Coast Conference), while handing out 3.7 assists per game (eighth in the WCC, 199th in NCAA). Totaled 114 assists on the season, with a 1.81 assist to turnover ratio (fourth best in the WCC, 75th in NCAA). Hit double-figure scoring in 20 of 31 games, including 12 in 18 conference games. Scored a career-high 28 points at Loyola Marymount (Feb. 15), hitting 6-of-11 from the field and 15-of-17 from the free throw line, the Pacific single-game record for free throws made in a game. Scored 17 points on 6-of-10 shooting against Arizona (Nov. 23). Knocked down a season-high four three-pointers at Saint Mary''s (Feb. 8). Finished 12th in the WCC with a .347 percentage from three-point range and 14th in three-pointers made per game with 1.4. Handed our four or more assists in 15 of 31 contests. Dished out eight assists in an overtime contest against No. 21 California (Dec. 7) with 11 points. Doled out a career-best nine assists in a win at BYU (Jan. 2) while scoring 15 points.
Sophomore (2012-13 at Fresno City Junior College)
Named First Team All State and the Central Valley Conference Player of the Year at Fresno City Junior College. Parrish helped the Rams to a 30–4 record and a spot in the JuCo Final Four. Fresno City won the Central Valley Conference title with a 12-0 league record, and was ranked No. 3 in the state.
Freshman (2011-12 at Fresno State)
Named to the WAC All-Freshman team. Appeared in all 34 games and made two starts. Parrish averaged 24.0 minutes per game, which is the most among non-starters, and played a season-high 38 minutes against UNLV on Jan. 6. She averaged 9.1 points, 2.4 rebounds and 2.6 assists per game and grabbed a total of 87 rebounds for 2.4 per game. She scored a career-high 17 points against UNLV and r accorded a career-high six rebounds against Pacific on Dec. 17. Dished out a season-high seven assists against San Jose State on Jan. 26 Recorded five steals against UTA on Jan. 3.
High School
Lettered four years in basketball and two years in volleyball. Played point guard all four years of high school. Named MVP of three Valley Championship games and MVP of the City vs. County all star game. A three-time Fresno Bee All-Star and 2009 Player of the Year. Led Hanford to its third consecutive Central Section title as a senior. Averaged 14.8 points, 7.2 assists, 4.5 steals and 3.4 rebounds.
Personal
Daughter of Tom and Robin Parrish ... has two older brothers, Josh and Nick and older sister, Amy, who played basketball and was an assistant coach at Fresno State. She is a Communications Major.
