The Tigers (1-7-2) will welcome the Redhawks (3-3-2, 0-0-1 WCC) to Knoles Field for the first time in program history, followed by the Broncos (3-5-1, 0-0-1) to cap the weekend.

Freshman Xavier Cisneros continues to pace the Tigers offensively, leading the team with three goals and seven points. His six shots on goal are tied for second most on the team with senior Massimo Erfani.

Erfani has been a strong force in the attack leading the Tigers with 14 shots, finding the back of the net one time thus far. Sophomore Josephat Yangyuoru has also been a strong catalyst of the offense, pacing the team in shots on goal with nine and scoring on two of those attempts.

In goal, sophomore Alejandro Caracheo Luna earned the start the last time out recording two saves, bringing his season total to 19 across four matches. Graduate student Mateus Ruiz-Hurst has started the bulk of the games this year.

Seattle brings one of the best offenses in the conference, pacing the WCC with a 2.38 average goals per game. Pacific's defense will have to keep an eye on forward Alex Notzka who is tied for the WCC lead in goals with six and second in points with 13. On the flip side the Redhawks showcase a strong defense as well with goalie Aleksander Kapciak holding the best save percentage in the conference at .829.

In the first-ever matchup between the two sides last season, the Tigers fell short but received a contribution from Erfani who opened the scoring for the team with a goal in the 22nd minute.

The Broncos started off the season strong with back-to-back wins but have since won one of the last seven. That one win came against San Diego State in a 2-1 home victory last week.

Santa Clara has been strong defensively thus far with goalkeeper Jackson Ozburn leading the way. His .769 save percentage and 1.13 goals against average both rank second in the WCC. Offensively, the Broncos have posed a group effort with seven different players recording at least one goal and two points. Forward Will Wiersdorf has led the way with six points.

This will be thirteenth match-up between the Broncos and Tigers in as many years. The last win for Pacific came in 2018 in a golden goal overtime victory at home.

The two upcoming opponents for the Tigers played a tight scoreless draw to open conference play for the two sides last Saturday.

Both Wednesday and Saturday's matches will be broadcast live on ESPN+ at 7 p.m. from Knoles Field.
