RENO, Nev. – The Pacific baseball program fell in 12-2 decision in eight innings on Sunday afternoon from Don Weir Field at Peccole Park.
After showcasing their offensive prowess in the first two games of the series, the Tigers (6-9) went quiet in the series finale, ultimately getting swept from the Wolf Pack (8-5).

Robert Orr extended his hitting streak to eight games after going 1-for-4 on Sunday. Overall, in the series, Orr demonstrated his discipline at the plate with an 8-for-11 performance with three runs, three RBIs and a home run across the three games.

Peyton Richards came in off the bench and crossed home plate during a two-run rally in the sixth inning, supplementing Pacific's only offense on the day.

Liam Smith (1-1) was handed the loss in his third start of the season, going 3.2 innings and allowing five runs (two earned) with a pair of strikeouts in that span.
Nevada took an early lead and never looked back from the bottom of the first, scoring once then and one more in the second to go ahead 2-0. Three runs in the fourth and four in the fifth broke the game open for the home team, ultimately leading to an eighth-inning ten-run mercy rule.
Pacific returns to the Golden State, awaiting a four-game series against Sacramento State this week. The Tigers and Hornets will play two on the road in the state capital on Wednesday and Friday before closing out the series at Klein Family Field on Saturday and Sunday. First pitch for the next home game on Saturday, March 14 has a 3 p.m. scheduled start time.
