MTEN Recap vs. SDSU 2026

Pacific Falls on Neutral Court to San Diego State in Men’s Tennis

SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif. – On Saturday afternoon on the campus Cal Poly, the Pacific men's tennis program suffered a 4-0 defeat to San Diego State.

Despite the score, Pacific (5-7) very nearly pulled out the doubles point, leading on court two when play was halted after a narrow defeat on court one.

However, in singles the team found the road much rougher and quick straight set defeats on courts one, three and five clinched the match for the Aztecs (6-8).

The Tigers will have an opportunity to clinch a split of the weekend with a win over Cal Poly on Sunday. That match is scheduled to start at 11 a.m.
