STOCKTON, Calif. – The unbeaten home record will be put to the test Wednesday when the Pacific men's basketball program hosts second-place Santa Clara at 7 p.m. at the Alex G. Spanos Center.
The Tigers (15-9, 6-5 WCC) are 10-0 (5-0 WCC) at home this season. They'll be going up against a Santa Clara (19-5, 10-1 WCC) squad that has won six in a row and whose only conference loss this season was on the road at Gonzaga.
In the current NCAA NET Rankings, Pacific is No. 106 out of 365, while the Broncos are No. 43. Since the NCAA NET Rankings came out in 2019-20, Pacific's highest ever finish was No. 110 in 2019-20.
Pacific's 6-5 conference record is its best through 11 games since 2019-20 when the team started 7-4. The Tigers have won three of their last four games including a road victory over Oregon State and home wins over Seattle and Portland.
Pacific is looking to shake off an 87-82 defeat at San Francisco over the weekend. The Tigers trailed 68-66 with 4:47 remaining before the Dons were able to make enough plays down the stretch to stay in front. Senior
Elias Ralph scored a team-high 23 points (4-6 3FG).
Ralph, a WCC Preseason All-Conference Team selection, leads the team in both scoring (16.7 ppg) and rebounding (6.6 rpg). He has six double-doubles on the year and 16 in two seasons at Pacific. Ralph ranks top-five in the WCC in scoring, field goal percentage, free throw percentage and minutes.
Senior
TJ Wainwright averages in double-figures with 13.5 points per game. He's hit a three-pointer in 23 of 24 games this season. Wainwright is shooting .441 from long range in conference.

Jaden Clayton ranks top-25 in the nation and second in the WCC in assists with 6.0 per game.
In conference games, senior
Justin Rochelin is averaging 13.4 points and 7.1 rebounds per game and is shooting .424 from long range. He's tallied eight consecutive double-figure scoring games.
Freshman
Jaion Pitt is coming off a 10-point performance at San Francisco. Pitt leads the team with a .703 field goal percentage on the year.
The Tigers are looking to avenge an 85-69 defeat to Santa Clara in the first meeting this season on the road. The Broncos forced 21 turnovers, which resulted in a 28-6 edge in points off turnovers. Senior
Elias Ralph recorded 17 points, five rebounds and five assists.
Santa Clara ranks 22nd in the nation in steals (9.3 spg) and 25th in turnovers forced per game (15.0). The Broncos are coming off a lopsided 104-73 road victory at LMU where they forced 22 turnovers and grabbed 13 steals.
Christian Hammond leads the squad with 16.8 points per game and scored a game-high 18 points in the first meeting against the Tigers. Santa Clara is scoring 88.9 points per outing in conference.

- Pacific is 10-0 at home for the first time since 1997-98 when the team went 13-0 at home in the regular season before falling at home in the NIT to Fresno State. The year prior in 1996-97, the Tigers finished 12-0 at home, which was the last undefeated home season.
