MTEN Recap at California 2026

Men’s Tennis Falls to California on the Road

BERKELEY, Calif. – The Pacific men's tennis program could not find the momentum needed to topple California and took a 4-0 loss to the Golden Bears on Saturday afternoon.

The doubles portion got off to a tough start, falling quickly on courts two and three to give Pacific (3-3) an early deficit.

As the match moved over to the singles courts, the Tigers were not able to string together as many rallies as the team would have needed, falling in straight sets on courts one, four and six to clinch the match in Cal's (7-5) favor. Graduate Terence Das was leading on court three when play was halted. Das' appearance was his first in the singles portion of a match since January 23 against UC Santa Barbara.

Up next is a quick turnaround for the Tigers who return to Stockton to host Sacramento State on Sunday at 1:30. The match will be livestreamed on Track Tennis.
