The Tigers (1-11-1, 0-3-1 WCC) look to return to the win column after a narrow 2-1 setback against Seattle last Saturday. Pacific has remained competitive throughout conference play, with
Kaya Rosa emerging as the catalyst behind the team's offensive production.
Rosa enters Saturday's contest with a team-leading seven goals and 14 points, having scored six times in her last seven appearances. The Newark, California native has found the back of the net in three consecutive WCC matches against Portland, Santa Clara and Seattle.
Rosa currently ranks tied for fourth in goals with seven to her name. Rosa is two goals away from becoming Pacific's single-season goals leader since 2013 where Pacific rejoined the WCC. The most goals in a season since that mark has been held by Jaida Nyby in 2023 (8).
Defensively, Wells continues to establish herself as one of the conference's promising young goalkeepers. The Kennesaw, Georgia native ranked second in the WCC with 51 saves entering last week's action and has consistently delivered timely stops to keep Pacific competitive. Wells sports a 2.18 GAA and a clean sheet in 11 starts in 2026. That clean sheet came at home in a 1-0 victory over CSU Bakersfield on Senior Day.
Gianna Gagliano has also provided stability along the backline, playing significant minutes while helping organize the Tigers' defensive efforts.
The Dons (3-7-1, 0-4-0 WCC) enter Saturday also seeking their first conference victory. Alicia Osegueda leads San Francisco with three goals, while Sydni Yoshida has contributed a team-high four assists.
Pacific earned a scoreless draw against the Dons last season in Stockton and last defeated USF with a 5-3 victory on Nov. 4, 2023. The Tigers seek their first road victory against San Francisco since Sept. 21, 2008, when Pacific earned a 1-0 shutout.
Saturday's match can be viewed live on ESPN+ with a 6 p.m. kick-off.
