Pacific Readies for Road Rematch with LMU

LOS ANGELES – The Pacific women's basketball team looks to avenge a loss suffered earlier in the season when the team takes on LMU at Gersten Pavilion at 6 p.m. Thursday night.

Gersten Pavilion has been historically kind to the Tigers (8-12, 3-6 WCC) as Pacific owns a 7-5 advantage all-time and a 5-2 record in the last seven trips. In the previous meeting with LMU (12-8, 6-3 WCC), sophomore Winner Bartholomew and freshman Sophia Mindermann exploded for career best performances of 28 and 17 points respectively.

Since joining the starting lineup, Mindermann has averaged 13.3 points per game and averaged three made three pointers a game.

During conference play she has separated herself as the best freshman sniper- ranking as the only freshman averaging more than two made threes a game and is third amongst the freshman in scoring, averaging 9.6 a game in WCC play.

Bartholomew has been an equal force scoring for the Tigers averaging 15.6 points a game in conference play, which currently places her ninth in the WCC. The 28 points against LMU is the most points by a Tiger this season.

Senior Sydney Ward finds herself on double-double watch going into Thursday's match after posting a double-double in both the last two road matches, highlighted by matching her career high 15 rebounds against San Francisco last time out.

Glancing at the standings, Pacific finds itself three games back of a top four seed in the conference tournament with nine games remaining in the regular season.

Thursday's action will be streamed on ESPN+.
