STOCKTON, Calif. – Men's Tennis Head Coach Cliff Awuy announced Tuesday that
Adi Kremer has filled the assistant coaching vacancy, marking the second return to the program for the all-time Pacific great.
A 1997 graduate, Kremer was inducted into the Pacific Athletics Hall of Fame in 2018 and was a First Team All-Big West singles member in 1994 and 1995 as well as a First Team All-Big West Doubles recipient in 1994 with his partner Jorge Abreu. His 1994 season was his standout campaign as he entered the season ranked 55th in the country preseason and after a 19-5 season finished as the number 39 ranked player nationally.
"We're thrilled to welcome
Adi Kremer back to Pacific as our new assistant coach," Awuy said.
"Adi is a Pacific alumnus and Hall of Famer who understands firsthand what it takes to compete at a high level while representing this university. His experience, pride in Pacific, and commitment to hard work will be invaluable as we continue to build a culture centered on excellence and accountability."
Kremer last helped coach his Alma Mater during the 2023-24 season in a volunteer capacity during Awuy's first season as the program's assistant coach.Â
As a team, Kremer and the Tigers will be back in action on February 4 at UC Davis.
