STOCKTON, Calif. - On Friday afternoon, Pacific men's tennis coach Cliff Awuy announced the newest addition to the program when Zhora Chetverukhin signed with the program ahead of the 2026 spring season.
Chetverukhin is a former top-ranked junior from Naples, Florida and will join the Tigers for the upcoming Spring 2026 season. He began his tennis journey at the age of eight and became a top 10-ranked junior within the competitive Mid-Atlantic region.
"We are very excited to welcome Zhora to the Pacific men's tennis family," said Awuy. "He is a talented and driven student-athlete who fits exactly what we look for in our program. Zhora is highly motivated, embraces competition, and understands what it takes to continue developing at the collegiate level. We believe he has the tools to make an immediate impact when he arrives in Spring 2026."
The Men's tennis season officially starts on January 18 against William Jessup at 1 p.m. at the Eve Zimmerman Tennis Center
