SEATTLE, Wash. – The Pacific track & field program put on the finishing touches from its season-opening performance Saturday from the UW Preview, hosted by Washington from Dempsey Indoor Facility.
The Tigers had a lighter showing on the final day of competition as only a trio of Pacific participants suited up on Saturday in Seattle.
Freshman
Emma Schmutz kicked things off with her Tiger track debut running the one-mile event, notching a time of 5:04.98, good for the second fastest time this season behind sophomore
Angelina Lione.
Lione made her presence known in the first heat of the 3,000-meter run, clocking in a time of 9:47.27.
Junior
Samuel Lanham competed in the one-mile event, collecting 38th place with a time of 4:20.09. Lanham's time was the fastest mile by a Tiger this season.
Pacific will next take part in the UW Invite, hosted by Washington from Friday, Jan. 30 to Saturday, Jan. 31.
