STOCKTON, Calif. – Coming off a championship season, the Pacific men's water polo program revealed its 2025 roster which included 10 newcomers.
The Tigers are coming off a 2024 campaign which saw them finish 18-2 overall and 6-0 in the West Coast Conference en route to winning the league's regular season championship.
Pacific revamped its roster for 2025 with student-athletes from five different countries, including four from USA, three from Hungary, and one from Greece, Montenegro and New Zealand. The class includes nine freshmen.
"This 2025 recruit class marks a bold new era for Pacific men's water polo. With 10 dynamic newcomers and elite talent at every position, we've built a foundation that will shape our program for years to come," said head coach
James Graham. "Each of these student-athletes brings the ability to make a lasting impact, and some are already poised to be among the top players in the NCAA from day one. Fans can expect a fast, physical and fearless team. This is the start of something special."
Saul Biddle (6-0, Fr., ATT, Las Vegas, Nev.)
Biddle was a two-time All-American at Oaks Christian HS and led the team to a No. 3 ranking in the country. He netted 137 goals over the last two seasons including 72 as a senior. Biddle represented Team USA in an international tournament this summer.
Brody Biedermann (6-3, Fr., ATT, Ripon, Calif.)
Biedermann was a four-year varsity letterwinner at Ripon HS where he was the team leader and school record holder in goals (284), assists (190), blocks (128) and steals (190). He stacked up numerous All-America, All-Section and All-League accolades and was equally as successful in the classroom where he was a three-time Academic All-American.
Ethan Carrington (6-3, Jr., ATT, Tauranga, New Zealand)
Carrington recorded over 100 career goals and 200 assists with his club team, Tauranga Men, in New Zealand. He helped the team win five national championships and a pair of state championships. Carrington earned All-State accolades in 2024.
Apostolos Georgaras (6-1, Fr., ATT, Patras, Greece)
Georgaras played in the premier Greek Division for Panathinaikos AC and netted 102 goals in two seasons in the A1 Championship. He holds the club record for goals in a game with eight and registered 52 goals in 2023-24. Georgaras helped Panathinaikos AC finish fourth at both the U21 FINA World Championship and the U19 LEN European Championship.
Borisz Kasa-Gal (6-6, Fr., UTL, Budapest, Hungary)
Kasa-Gal was a member of the winning Hungarian Water Polo Junior Championship team and in the Junior Hungarian Cup. His national team experience also included a bronze medal with the adult team in the Hungarian Men's Water Polo Championship. Kasa-Gal played club with BVSC-Zuglo.
Gergely Kiss (6-0, Fr., GK, Budapest, Hungary)
Kiss played club for Kozponti Sport es Ifjusagi Egyesulet (KSI SE) and guided the team to a pair of championships. He competed in Hungary's top-tier OB 1 men's water polo league and was a European Champion. Kiss was invited to play with the Hungary adult national team prior to his commitment to Pacific.
Landon Mauge (6-7, Fr., CTR, Hanford, Calif.)
Mauge was a four-time League MVP and First-Team selection at San Joaquin Memorial. He was also a three-time All-America First-Team honoree and four-time All-Valley Team. He totaled 560 career goals, 211 steals and 210 assists as he helped the team win a valley and league championship.
Lukas Peters (5-10, Fr., ATT, Walnut Creek, Calif.)
Peters was a two-time All-North Coast Section selection and helped the team win three NCS Championships. He was named to the All-America Third-Team and All-NorCal First-Team as a senior. Peters was distinguished for his leadership and was a two-time Mark Ayer's Leadership Award winner. Academically, he was on the All-NCS President's List for times.
Petar Popovic (6-1, Fr., WING, Herceg Novi, Montenegro)
Popovic played for PVK Jadran, one of the premier water polo clubs in the Montengrin League, the top series of Montenegro. He helped Jadran win consecutive Montengrin National Championships in 2023 and 2024.
Tamas Otto Voros (6-2, Fr., DEF, Kaposvar, Hungary)
Otto Voros made 75 appearances with Kaposvari VK in Hungary's top-tier OB 1 men's water polo league and also played for the nation's U18 National Team. He scored two goals in a match against South Korea which contributed significantly to the team's win.
