STOCKTON, Calif. – After helping UC San Diego earn an automatic bid to the 2025 NCAA Tournament, Justin Rochelin transferred to Pacific and will join the men's basketball program for the 2025-26 season.

Rochelin was part of a UCSD team that submitted a 30-5 overall record and 18-2 in the Big West. The Tritons won both the Big West regular season and conference tournament titles as Rochelin went on to win Big West Sixth Player of the Year honors.

Rochelin is a 6-5, 200-pound guard from Encino, California. He averaged 6.6 points and 3.5 rebounds per game for the Tritons and played in all 35 games. He previously spent two years at Oregon State and his freshman season at Arizona State where he redshirted.

"We are thrilled to have Justin join our program. He is a veteran guard who understands what it takes to be successful and can make an immediate impact for us. Justin's athleticism, combined with his ability to defend and rebound are skills that transfer immediately at every level. He is a true competitor and brings toughness and leadership to our team," said head coach Dave Smart.

Prior to his collegiate career, Rochelin was a three-star prospect at Heritage Christian School in Northridge, California, according to 247sports.com. He played in Nike's EYBL in the spring of 2019 and was heavily recruited before his commitment to Arizona State.

Rochelin will be pursuing a degree in Sociology at Pacific.
