LOS ANGELES – Putting a bow on the 2025 campaign, junior
Sophia Livingston highlighted her final events of the season by breaking the Pacific record in the 800-meter event Saturday at the Occidental Invitational, hosted by Occidental College.
Livingston sprinted a time of 2:17.55 in the finals of the 800-meter run, nearly shaving off ten seconds off of her time from the beginning of this season. For the third meet in a row, Livingston has rewritten the school record books in that event, beating her previous mark of 2:17.87 set a couple weeks ago at the Bryan Clay Invitational.
Livingston also took part this weekend in the 1,500-meter event alongside junior
Emily Wernli. Wernli recorded a time of 4:56.68 while Livingston registered a 5:03.82 in the event.
With the conclusion of the 2025 track season, the Tigers put together a strong resume across over a dozen events, tying or breaking four records in the process while achieving multiple personal bests. Pacific now looks ahead to the 2025-26 campaign where the team looks to continue its success.
