STOCKTON, Calif. – The Pacific men's basketball program added more size and athleticism to its roster with the signing of Isaac Jack to its 2025-26 roster.
Jack, a 6-11, 250-pound forward from Port Alberni, B.C., Canada, transfers to Pacific after spending the last two seasons at Dayton. He was a part of an NCAA Tournament team in 2023-24 and an NIT squad in 2024-25.
In two seasons at Dayton, Jack shot 74-of-98 (.755) from the floor. He averaged 3.1 points per game over 54 appearances with a career-high of 11 points against Ball State on Nov. 13, 2024.
"We're ecstatic to welcome Isaac to the Pacific Tigers family. His physicality in the paint, relentless rebounding and defensive presence make him a great addition to our team. Isaac's work ethic and team-first mentality will help us compete at the highest level this season," said head coach
Dave Smart.
In 2023-24, Jack played in all 33 games on a team that finished 25-8 overall and 14-4 in the Atlantic 10. He was on a loaded Dayton squad that won a game in the NCAA Tournament against Nevada.
This past year, he was part of a Dayton team that ended 23-11 overall and 12-6 in the A10. He helped the Flyers pick up an NIT victory over Florida Atlantic.
Jack spent his freshman season at Buffalo in 2022-23 and averaged 5.6 points and 4.2 rebounds in 31 games. He made 20 starts and shot .661 (76-115) from the field.
Growing up, Jack played hockey and soccer and did not start playing basketball competitively until 2020. He spent the 2021-22 season at Fort Erie International Academy and helped the team win the Ontario Scholastic Basketball Association championship.
Jack averaged 15.4 points and 9.7 rebounds per game while shooting .767 from the floor at Fort Erie. He played in the All-Canadian Biosteel Basketball Game, which is Canada's version of the McDonald's High School All-America Game.
Jack is the son of Anna Jack, who was inducted into the BYU Hall of Fame in 2002 as a two-sport athlete in basketball and track & field. Anna Jack was the NCAA Champion in the discus in back-to-back years in 1991 and 1992.
Isaac Jack will be pursuing a degree in Education at Pacific.
