FRESNO, Calif. – The Pacific baseball program opened up a four-game road trip, heading down the I-99 and ultimately dropped a 10-0 decision in seven innings on Tuesday night at Bob Bennett Stadium.
The Tigers (20-33) strung together four hits throughout the night that featured a pair of scoring opportunities early on, but the Bulldogs' (26-26) offense powered its way to taking the last of two meetings between the two teams in 2025.
Redshirt sophomore
Andrew Sloan collected a multi-hit effort in the game offensively while freshman
Diego Davis and redshirt freshman
Mike Santos-LaPlaca recorded the other Pacific hits as singles during a third inning rally.
The Tigers utilized seven pitchers on the night with junior
Evan Moll making his first career start in the road contest. Sophomore
Bryce Cruz and redshirt junior
Nathen Nino delivered scoreless innings in relief appearances on Tuesday.
The Bulldogs hit a solo home run in the bottom of the first, continued to add on and never looked back after tallying their tenth run of the game in the bottom of the seventh frame.
Pacific will look to regroup as the team begins its final West Coast Conference showdown of the regular season at San Diego, starting Thursday night at 6 p.m. PDT.
