Women’s Water Polo Quartet Earns All-Conference Nods

STOCKTON, Calif. – The Golden Coast Conference announced its 2025 postseason honors, and the No. 21 Pacific women's water polo program was represented by junior Dora Alaksza on the First-Team, senior Hila Futorian on the Second-Team and senior Addison McGowan and sophomore Maja Lizy Dulic as Honorable Mention.
 
Alaksza became a two-time All-GCC First-Team honoree after earning the same recognition last year. She led the conference in goals per game this season with 4.0 and was second in total goals scored with 84. Alaksza scored a goal in every match with 14 hat tricks. She broke the school record for goals in a single game with 11 in a GCC win over Concordia.
 
Futorian earned her third career All-GCC nod after being named to the First-Team in 2023 and Honorable Mention in 2024. Futorian ranks sixth in the league in points per game (3.6) and fifth in assists per game (1.6). She was the team's second leading scorer with 41 goals and 75 points. Futorian notched seven hat tricks including one in each of the last three games.
 
Dulic ranks second in the league in saves per game (8.6), fourth in total saves (180) and fourth in steals per game (1.5). She recorded at least 10 saves four times including a season-high 16 against Brown. Dulic registered career-highs of six steals and three assists in a win over San Diego State and went on to earn GCC Player of the Week honors. Dulic earned GCC Honorable Menton for the second straight year.
 
McGowan tallied a well-rounded stat line of 27 goals, 23 steals and 19 assists on the year. She submitted nine multi-goal outings including hat tricks in WCC games against LMU and Azusa Pacific. McGowan, who earned her first career All-Conference nod, grabbed a career-high five steals against Marist.
 
Pacific will enter the Golden Coast Conference Tournament as the No. 3 seed and will face No. 6 Azusa Pacific in the first round. The Tigers won the regular season match-up 13-12 on April 12. The game will be played Friday, April 12 at 10 a.m. on the campus of LMU.
