SAN FRANCISCO – The Pacific women's track and field program hits the road for the Mike Fanelli Track Classic at Cox Stadium from Thursday, April 2 to Saturday, April 4.
The Tigers will compete in their seventh event of the 2025 campaign, heading for the 16th edition of the meet. The Mike Fanelli Track Classic will carry over across three days, beginning with the 10k run on Thursday. Pacific will have no participants in that event.
On Friday, the Tigers are expected to have junior
Emily Wernli, senior
Sophia Livingston, graduate student
Elisabeth Garner and sophomore
Emma Kaufman compete in the 1,500 meter run on Friday. Livingston will also take part in the 800 meter run on Saturday.
Graduate student
Anahi Avila Perez will prepare for the two-mile journey.
As a four-person team, the Tigers will race in the distance medley.
Junior
Alondra Lopez goes at it in the 400 meter run as part of Section 5 while graduate student
Talia Johnson will dash 100 meters in Section 4. Johnson has a personal record of 13.17 in the 100 meter dash.
Junior
Serena Yee rounds out the competition, performing the high jump in Flight 1 on the final day. Yee broke the school record earlier this season at Cal with a height of 4' 11" in that event.
