AZUSA, Calif. – The Pacific women's track and field program heads to Southern California for the Bryan Clay Invitational at Cougar Stadium from Wednesday, April 16 to Friday, April 18.
The Tigers will have two runners competing in events across the three days in junior
Sophia Livingston and junior
Emily Wernli.
Last week at the Chico Invitational, Livingston broke the school record in the 800-meter event. Livingston sprinted for a time of 2:18.02, surpassing the previous school record of 2:19.47 set in 2017 by
Emily Wylie. It was Livingston's sixth consecutive personal record time in the event as she was coming off a 2:19.61 last weekend at the Mike Fanelli Track Classic in San Francisco.
Livingston is set to run in that event again this week in event 60 at the Bryan Clay Invitational. She also will participate in the 1,500-meter event.
Wernli will join Livingston in the 1,500-meter event where her personal best was set last time out in Chico with a time of 4:49.55. Livingston's personal record in this event is 4:52.55, which she earned at the 2025 Hornet Invitational.
