RENO, Nev. – Pacific women's tennis put up a tough fight but ultimately fell to Nevada 7-0 in the McArthur Tennis Center on Sunday afternoon.
Pacific (3-8) pushed Nevada (8-1) in the doubles portion but conceded the point after two 6-3 losses on courts one and two.
The Tigers were unfortunately unable to string together enough rallies in singles to claw the comeback but did push the Wolfpack to extra tennis on courts one and three from seniors
Megan Carmichael and
Alexis Sam respectively.
The women are off for the coming week and will not play again until the opening of West Coast Conference play on Mar. 23 at Saint Mary's.
