PULLMAN, Wash. – The Pacific women's tennis program fell behind early to Washington State after doubles and could not recover in singles despite a valiant fight from the Tigers, ultimately falling 4-0 Sunday morning.
When play was halted, senior
Megan Carmichael was in position to force a third set on singles court one as was sophomore
Indiya McLeod on court three.
Freshman
Maggie Hoe on court six had forced her opponent to a 7-5 result in the second set but could not force the necessary break points to shift the tide.
Moving into the month of April, Pacific (4-11) is at home for three matches beginning with American River College on Tuesday before moving back into WCC play with Portland on Saturday and San Diego on Sunday.
