Gonzaga Completes Sweep of Pacific Sunday

SPOKANE, Wash. – The Pacific baseball program dropped the series finale to Gonzaga, 10-0, in seven innings Sunday afternoon at Patterson Baseball Complex.

The Tigers (10-19, 0-6 WCC) collected one hit and four walks through seven innings as the Bulldogs (12-13, 5-1 WCC) were fueled by ten runs on 14 hits.

Senior Jakob Guardado pitched three innings, followed by relief appearances senior Ethan Shaver and redshirt junior Nathen Nino. 

Redshirt senior JT Waldon recorded the lone hit for Pacific, which came in the sixth inning.

Gonzaga's Justin Feld pitched 6.1 innings of one-hit ball. Five Bulldogs' hitters recorded multi-hit performances in powering the home team's offense to the mercy-rule decision in the Sunday matinee.

The Tigers return home to host San Jose State in their midweek contest next week. First pitch is slated for 6:05 p.m. at Klein Family Field.
