SPOKANE, Wash. – Inside the Stevens Center on Saturday morning, the Pacific women's tennis program fought Gonzaga tough but ultimately fell in a 4-1 result.
Sophomore
Indiya McLeod secured her second win of the season with a straight set triumph on court three. Fellow sophomore
Rayna Sugai had forced a set three on court five and was neck and neck with her opponent when play was halted.
As was sophomore
Nahreen Cheam on court six who had gone to a tiebreaker in set two to determine if a third set was necessary. The sophomore was making her first appearance since Mar. 1 against CSUN.
Coming up next is Pacific's (4-10) penultimate road match of the season when it faces Washington State for the first time since 2010.
