No. 25 Pacific Travels to No. 3 Hawaii for Stiff Road Test

HONOLULU – Going up against its second straight top-five opponent, the No. 25 Pacific women's water polo program will trek to No. 3 Hawaii for a 9 p.m. (PST) Saturday match at the Duke Kahanamoku Aquatic Complex.

The game will not be streamed.

Pacific (9-7, 3-1 GCC) has won two of its last three matches but is looking to shake-off a 16-8 defeat to No. 4 UCLA in its last outing. Junior Dora Alaksza scored five goals in the contest and is up to 69 on the season, which is the second-most in the Golden Coast Conference.

Pacific will see a familiar face in Candice Vorbeck, who serves as the associate head coach at Hawaii (13-3, 3-0 Big West). Vorbeck was the head coach at Pacific last season and coached the Tigers to a 16-11 season, including a 4-3 mark in conference.

The Tigers will look to hand the Rainbow Warriors their first home loss since 2023. Pacific is going for its first win over Hawaii in school history as the teams will meet for the 30th time.

Pacific's next home game is Saturday, March 29 when the Tigers host Fresno Pacific at 1 p.m. at the Eberhardt Aquatics Center.
