Pacific Drops Series Finale at Indiana State

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – The Pacific baseball program was on the wrong side of a 12-2 decision in eight innings on Sunday afternoon at Indiana State at Bob Warn Field.

The Tigers (10-11) return home with a 2-3 record from the week after series against the Roadrunners and the Sycamores (9-11).

Pacific fell behind the eight ball early after giving up seven runs in the first two innings. The Tigers scored a run in the fourth and seventh innings to give themselves a positive from the day.

Junior Rylan Evans and senior Jarryd Wood stayed hot at the plate, each recording two hits in the series finale.

Indiana State's Andrew Ortiz played a big role in the home team's offense, collecting a game-high four RBI as part of the Sycamores' dozen runs on the day.

The Tigers look ahead to facing Sacramento State on Tuesday. First pitch is slated for 6 p.m. at Klein Family Field.
