DAVIS, Calif. – After helping the No. 22 Pacific women's water polo program record a perfect 4-0 weekend, senior Hila Futorian was named the Golden Coast Conference Player of the Week winner on Thursday.

Futorian led Pacific's (4-0) offense with 17 goals over four games. It included at least four goals in every contest against Villanova, La Salle, Marist and No. 21 Brown.

The Tigers have matched their best start in school history. They will head to UC Davis for three matches this weekend beginning with a 9:30 a.m. Saturday contest against the ninth-ranked Aggies at the Schaal Aquatics Center.

Pacific will face No. 4 Cal (5-0) at 2 p.m. Saturday and UC Merced at 10 a.m. Sunday. Pacific is 4-0 for the first time since 2018 when the squad finished 18-8 overall and 7-0 in conference. The Tigers are looking to begin 5-0 for the first time in program history.

Junior Dora Alaksza, a 2024 All-America Honorable Mention, registered 13 goals, while sophomore Alicia Petkov netted 10 goals.

The Tigers will look to beat UC Davis (5-5) for the second straight year after winning 13-10 on the road last season. The Aggies split a pair of matches last weekend beating No. 10 Fresno State and No. 14 LMU but falling to No. 1 USC and No. 7 Long Beach State.

Pacific is going for its first win over Cal in program history. The Bears have started their season with wins over No. 7 Long Beach State, No. 9 Fresno State twice, No. 12 UC San Diego and No. 18 San Jose State.

The Tigers will close out the weekend with their second-ever meeting against UC Merced (1-5) after winning 20-4 last season. The Bobcats have a 12-8 win over Carthage College on their resume this year.

This weekend's matches will not be live streamed.
