BERKELEY, Calif. – The Pacific women's track program showcased a strong display at Cal All Comers Saturday at Edwards Stadium, hosted by California.
Junior
Emily Wernli was one of the bright spots for the Tigers, finishing top eight in the women's 3k run with a time of 10:41.43. Her personal-best run elevated Wernli to eighth all-time at Pacific in the event. Sophomore
Valeria Espinoza and sophomore
Emma Kaufman also set personal records in the 3k, clocking times of 10:54.54 and 11:05.23.
Graduate student
Talia Johnson ran the 60-meter dash in 8.35 seconds, which was .11 seconds off tying her previous mark set in the season opener in Reno, Nevada.
Junior
Serena Yee completed the triple jump in second place, notching a distance of 10.14 m. Yee also earned a distance of 1.45 m in the high jump.
Sophomore
Gianna Solano and junior
Sophia Livingston finished in the top half of the women's 800-meter run with sub-2:28 times.
The Tigers will prepare for next week's meet, focusing on the Kim Duyst Invite from Feb. 28 through March 1 in Turlock, California.
