STOCKTON, Calif. – First year Men's Tennis Head Coach Cliff Awuy unveiled his inaugural schedule Thursday afternoon, highlighted by the ITA Kickoff Weekend in Los Angeles to face ranked opponents in No. 38 UC Santa Barbara and either No. 14 or 62 UCLA/New Mexico.
"Our Spring 2026 schedule reflects exactly who we are—unafraid of challenges, committed to growth, and ready to compete against the very best," Awuy said.
"From opening weekend at home to battling through the ITA Kick-Off and a demanding conference slate, every match is an opportunity to raise our standard. We're excited, we're prepared, and we can't wait to represent Pacific with pride."
In addition to the ITA Kickoff Weekend, Pacific will host six matches in the non-conference slate beginning with Jessup on January 18 at 1 p.m. followed by matches with UCSB, Sacramento State, UNLV, Nevada, and Hawai'i. Last season the Tigers defeated both UNLV and Sac State on the road while the last matchup with Hawai'i in 2022 ended with a Rainbow Warriors win.
The schedule also features seven away bouts against UC Davis, California, UC San Diego, San Diego State, Cal Poly, Oral Roberts, and Tulsa. The matchup with UCSD is part of a showcase that has Pacific facing off with Ball State on a neutral court.
Once the Tigers hit the conference portion of the schedule, it will feature three home matches right off the start first with Portland on March 21 at 1 p.m. followed by home March bouts with Pepperdine and LMU. All four of Pacific's April opponents come on the road in the form on Santa Clara, San Diego, Gonzaga, and Saint Mary's.
The team will look to improve on a semifinal finish in last season's WCC tournament.
