Game Recap: Men's Water Polo |

No. 6 Pacific Falls to No. 2 UCLA

LOS ANGELES – A shorthanded No. 6 Pacific men's water polo program dropped a 17-2 decision to No. 2 UCLA on Friday at the Spieker Aquatics Center.

The Tigers (15-6, 5-1 WCC) were without freshman Apostolos Georgaras, the team's leading scorer who has won four West Coast Conference weekly awards this season and has scored 69 goals. Georgaras missed the game due to injury.

Pacific garnered goals from senior Daniel Viscia and freshman Borisz Kasa-Gal against the Bruins (21-1, 4-1 MPSF).

It was a non-conference match, as the Tigers have already won the WCC Regular Season Championship for the second year in a row and have solidified the No. 1 seed for the conference tournament.

Pacific will play its final regular season game Sunday when it travels to No. 3 Stanford for a 1 p.m. game at the Avery Aquatic Center. The 2025 WCC Tournament will be played Nov. 21-23 at Air Force.
