PALO ALTO, Calif. – In the final game of the 2025 regular season, the No. 6 Pacific men's water polo program was topped 16-7 by No. 3 Stanford on Sunday at the Avery Aquatic Center.

It was a non-conference match for both the Tigers (15-7, 5-1 WCC) and the Cardinal (14-6, 1-4 MPSF). Pacific already won the West Coast Conference Regular Season Championship for the second year in a row.

Freshman Apostolos Georgaras, the team's leading goal scorer who missed Friday's game at No. 2 UCLA, returned to the pool Sunday and saw limited action. He scored a goal in the third quarter on his second shot of the game.

Seven different Tigers scored a goal. It included Georgaras, senior Manuel Pembertty, senior Ethan Braga, junior Jonah Martorana, sophomore Ori Buzaglo, sophomore Yoav Rendler and freshman Borisz Kasa-Gal.

Junior Benjamin Gronbach entered at goalkeeper in the first half and made five saves.

Pacific will now turn its attention to the WCC Tournament at Air Force. The Tigers clinched a first round bye and will play in the semifinals on Saturday, Nov. 22.
