STOCKTON, Calif. – The Pacific men's soccer program plays No. 13 Oregon State for its final home contest of West Coast Conference play on Senior Day at 7 p.m. on Saturday at Knoles Field.
The Tigers (4-12, 1-6 WCC) are coming off their best performance of the 2025 campaign, earning a 4-0 victory over Air Force to cap their non-conference slate, and look to carry that momentum over into their final home contest against the Beavers (9-3-2, 5-0-2 WCC).
In a pregame ceremony, Pacific will be honoring its graduating senior class with
Jacob Heisner,
Matteo Carbone,
Jose Maria Barrera,
Luca Baltzer,
Daniel Govea,
Alberto Cruz and
Ben-Martin Wilkinson playing their final match at Knoles Field.
These veteran players were a driving force of the offense last time out as Baltzer and Barrera each collected multi-point performances against the Falcons on Wednesday, which was the largest shutout victory at home since Oct. 19, 2018 against San Francisco (4-0).
Baltzer, a WCC preseason team member, leads the Tigers with three goals, four assists and ten points in 15 contests this year. Freshman
Dominic Berrios and freshman
Aaron Folikwei picked up their first career goals as Tigers in the 4-0 win over Air Force. Berrios also added an assist on a goal, marking his first career multi-point performance. Berrios leads all Pacific freshmen in assists with three.
Defensively, the Tigers have shifted between the likes of junior
Mateus Ruiz-Hurst and junior
Milo Risenhoover in goal this year. Ruiz-Hurst is coming off his first career clean sheet against the Falcons, making four saves in that effort. He is up to 40 saves on the year with a 2.29 goals against average in 12 starts.
The Beavers come to Stockton for the first time, marking the third conference foe this season that the Tigers face from the national rankings. Oregon State have won three straight contests heading into Saturday, defeating Gonzaga, Seattle and Santa Clara in that span.
The Beavers' offense is fueled by Arnau Farnos, who paces his team and the WCC with 13 goals and 33 points. He has scored four goals in his last three games, including a brace in a 6-0 last game against the Broncos.
John Nicholson has started every game in goal for Oregon State, owning a 1.36 goals against average with four shutouts – two of which have come in conference play.
Pacific and Oregon State meet for the fourth time since 2017 with the previous three matches taking place in Corvallis, Oregon. This will be the first time that the Tigers host the Beavers at Knoles Field as they seek their first win in the series history.
The match will be broadcast live on ESPN+ with a 7 p.m. kick-off scheduled for Senior Day.
