VB Preview vs. Oregon State 2025

Pacific to Honor Volleyball Seniors at Final Home Match

STOCKTON, Calif. – For the final time in their collegiate careers, the two Pacific volleyball seniors and two graduates will lace it up at the Alex G. Spanos Center in a Tigers jersey as the program celebrates senior day on Saturday against Oregon State at noon.

Senior Logan Blutreich is the program's lone four-year senior and has put together her best season yet. She ranks second on the team this season in both kills and blocks, putting up a career-best 146 kills, highlighted by a career-high 13 in the win against Mercer earlier this season, and 49 blocks, also a personal best.

Fellow senior Jayhlin Swain is completing her second campaign in the orange and black and will leave behind a record book legacy. In her first season with Pacific (8-16, 2-11 WCC) she put up 524 digs – just the eighth Tiger in program history to reach 500 digs and the second most digs in a single season. Against LMU this season Swain recorded the 1,000th dig of her career.

Graduate Olivia Keller, who joined the program this season, has stepped into a leadership role offensively, leading Pacific with 288 kills and nearly doubling her previous three seasons combined with five matches left. Keller also notched her first 20-kill match earlier this season against Eastern Washington and is top-10 in the WCC in kills this season.

In the middle, Graduate Valentina Varani has cemented herself as one of the prolific blockers in recent Pacific history. She enters the weekend with 91 total blocks, just nine away from tallying the team's first 100-block season since 2019 and has emerged as a threat from the service line, more than tripling her aces from the previous three seasons combined. Her blocking prowess was highlighted by a monster game against Georgia Southern in which she tallied three solo blocks and five block assists to tie her career high.

Looking at the match, the last time these two schools met up in Stockton, Pacific completed the reverse sweep to topple the Beavers (16-8, 10-4 WCC) in 2024. The friendly confines of the Spanos Center have been kind to the Tigers, amassing a 6-0 home record all-time against Oregon State.

Pacific has also thrived on senior day of late, winning the past three senior day matches.

Tomorrow's senior day celebrations will take place following the match, which will be streamed on ESPN+.
