Men’s Tennis Adds Reuben De Klerk to 2025-26 Roster

STOCKTON, Calif. – The Pacific men's tennis program added more athleticism to its roster with the signing of Reuben De Klerk, announced by head coach Clifton Awuy.
 
From Potchefstroom, South Africa, De Klerk will be eligible to play this spring, 2026 season.
 
De Klerk has reached a career-high ITF Junior World Ranking of No. 130. He's currently ranked No. 4 in South Africa's Under 18 division and holds a No. 12 national men's ranking.
 
"We're extremely excited to have Reuben join the Pacific men's tennis program," Awuy said. "He's a world-class competitor with a proven record of success in international play. Beyond his results, Reuben brings a great work ethic, professionalism and a hunger to keep improving. He's going to make an immediate impact on our lineup and add tremendous value to our team culture."
 
De Klerk is a versatile singles and doubles player who has won three ITF singles titles and nine ITF doubles titles. He boasts a career-high UTR of 12.36, underlining his competitiveness at the international level.
