STOCKTON, Calif. – Dignity Health St. Joseph's Medical Center has signed on as the Official Healthcare Partner of University of the Pacific Athletics, announced Wednesday.

The partnership expands Pacific's long-standing relationship with St. Joseph's Medical Center, strengthening collaboration on the university's nursing, pharmacy and physical therapy programs. Together, the organizations are enhancing efforts to train and retain skilled healthcare professionals within the Stockton community.

St. Joseph's and Pacific also work closely on community health initiatives, including Community Health Clinics that address disparities and priority needs identified in San Joaquin County, and the St. Joseph's Music Therapy Program, a joint effort with the Pacific Conservatory that provides evidence-based physical and mental healing for hospital patients.

"Dignity Health St. Joseph's Medical Center is proud to be the official healthcare partner for University of the Pacific Athletics," said David Ziolkowski, President and Chief Executive Officer of St. Joseph's Medical Center, regarding the new community partnership. "University of the Pacific has been one of St. Joseph's strongest partners in the Stockton community for decades, and this collaboration will allow us to further enhance our shared commitment to health and community well-being."

Director of athletics Adam Tschuor said the expanded partnership reflects the university's commitment to student-athlete wellness and community engagement.

"Partnering with Dignity Health St. Joseph's Medical Center reinforces our focus on providing the best possible care and resources for our student-athletes," Tschuor said. "Their reputation for excellence and their deep investment in Stockton align perfectly with our mission to develop champions in competition, in the classroom and in the community."

The partnership includes expanded branding opportunities for Dignity Health and St. Joseph's Medical Center. New signage is visible in the Alex G. Spanos Center and during broadcast content, and a prominent Dignity Health logo will be installed on the court later this month.
