STOCKTON, Calif. – In Pacific's only action of the day, rising sophomore
Niv Zuckerman split his two matches in the Singles Qualifying Draw of the 2025 ITA Northwest Regional.
Zuckerman opened the tournament with a straight set win over Portland to advance to the round of 32 before falling in straight sets to eighth seeded Saint Mary's.
Looking ahead to tomorrow's action, Pacific will have five student-athletes competing in the Singles Main Draw Tournament with rising sophomores
Vraj Patel,
Nico Rating, and
Jonty Giesen all seeing action on Friday alongside rising junior
Christof Schaertlin Coffey and graduate
Terence Das.
In the doubles tournament, Rating and Schaertlin Coffey will open up in the round of 32 after receiving a bye, as will the pairing of Giesen and Das.
Patel and Zuckerman do have action in the round of 64 against California, where UC Davis awaits in the round of 32.
The Northwest Regional continues from Oct. 16-21 at the Eve Zimmerman Tennis Center.
