Men’s Basketball Falls to Hot Shooting Pepperdine

STOCKTON, Calif. – The shooting percentages weren't in favor of the Pacific men's basketball program Saturday as the Tigers couldn't slow down Pepperdine in an 87-70 decision at the Alex G. Spanos Center.
 
Pacific (5-10, 0-4 WCC) shot .393 from the field and .313 from three, while the Waves (7-10, 1-3 WCC) were .574 from the floor and .429 from long range. Most notably, Pepperdine was 8-of-13 (.615) from three in the second half.
 
Leading the offense for the Tigers were junior Elijah Fisher and senior Elias Ralph. Fisher tallied 18 points, while Ralph ended with 16 points and six rebounds.
 
Senior Petar Krivokapic came off the bench to net a season-high 14 points. He helped the Tigers outscore the Waves 19-9 in bench scoring.
 
The Waves were guided by Stefan Todorovic's 29 points. He was 7-of-8 from long range.
 
The Tigers are now 43-38 all-time against Pepperdine and 22-13 at home.
 
Up next, the Tigers will travel to Washington State for a 6:30 p.m. game Thursday. They'll return home next Saturday for a 7 p.m. contest against Oregon State.
 
NOTES
- Pacific is now 807-457 all-time at home and 344-223 in the Alex G. Spanos Center.
 
- Fisher entered the game ranked fourth in the country in free throw attempts and sixth in free throws made and was 9-of-12 from the line. It was his third consecutive 20-plus scoring performance and seventh this year.
 
- Ralph continued his streak of scoring in double-figures in every game this year. He was 6-of-12 from the field and buried a pair of threes.
 
- Krivokapic surpassed his previous season-high of 13 points against Idaho on Dec. 21, 2024. It was his 28th career double-digit scoring games and sixth this season. He was 4-of-7 from the floor and 3-of-5 from long distance.
 
- Junior Lamar Washington entered the night ranked seventh in the country in total assists and 19th in assists per game (6.1) and was above his average with seven.
