STOCKTON, Calif. – Coming off back-to-back shutouts, the Pacific men's soccer program returns home from a three-game road swing to host UC Santa Barbara at 7 p.m. Monday at Knoles Field.

The Tigers (2-1-1) blanked UC Riverside 2-0 last weekend before holding CSU Northridge scoreless in a 0-0 draw. Pacific will play its second home game of the year after opening the season with a 1-0 victory over UC Davis.

Joshua Moya has stood out in goal for the Tigers, collecting three clean sheets in four starts, which leads the West Coast Conference. Moya's .889 save percentage, 24 saves and three shutouts all pace the WCC leaderboards.

Moya, who was named WCC Defensive Player of the Week after his first week performance, enters Monday's match top-10 nationally with three shutouts (2nd), 24 saves (7th) and 6.00 saves/game (9th).

Fifth year
Vinzent Zingel leads the Tigers with a pair of goals on seven shot attempts. Zingel notched his first career multi-goal game in a 2-0 win at UC Riverside.Â

Jose Maria Barrera has a goal on a team-high six shots on goal, scoring in the home opener in the 1-0 win over the Aggies. His six shots on goal rank among the top 10 in the WCC.

Luca Baltzer have been steady forces for the Tigers, logging the full 90 minutes in each of the first four games of the season.Â

Sitting atop the Big West standings, UC Santa Barbara (3-1) has opened the 2024 season with three wins in its first four matches, including a 1-1 road record. Most recently, the Gauchos defeated UNLV at home last Friday by a 4-1 margin. Alexis Ledoux paces the UCSB offense with five goals, seven shots on goal and 12 points.

The Gauchos will make their first trip to Pacific since 2019. The game will be streamed on ESPN+ with Dennis Ackerman on the call.
