SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. – The Pacific men's soccer team hits the road for its West Coast Conference opener, facing San Francisco on the Hilltop Sunday at 1 pm at Negoesco Stadium.

The Tigers (2-3-2) wrapped up five straight contests against Big West schools and now look ahead to lifting the lid on their conference slate against the Dons (1-5-2).

Fifth year Vinzent Zingel leads Pacific with a pair of goals on three shots on target. Zingel collected a brace for his first career multi-goal performance in a 2-0 victory at UC Riverside.

Junior Jose Maria Barrera holds the team lead in shots on goal with seven. The Stockton, California native also has one goal on 13 shot attempts, which sits atop the Tiger leaderboards.

Freshman Carlos Maldonado scored his first career goal in the Tigers' last match against CSU Bakersfield. Maldonado has seen action in all seven games this season.

Senior Joshua Moya has started every game in goal for Pacific. Moya owns a 1.00 GAA, an .837 save percentage and three shutouts.

Junior Luca Baltzer is the only Tiger to have played every minute this year. He has a goal and an assist through seven games.

The Dons enter WCC play with a 4-0 win over San Jose State as their most-recent result. Their four goals last game was a season high. USF has three players with two goals. William Krause earned the start in goal last game, picking up the win and shutout.

The Tigers and Dons battle for the 12th time in series history. Pacific won the last road match-up in 2022 against San Francisco by a 2-0 score.

The game will be broadcast live on ESPN+ with a kick-off set for 1 pm.
