No. 7 Pacific Travels Back to East Coast for Four Games at Princeton

PRINCETON, N.J. – After beginning the season with wins in the states of Rhode Island and Massachusetts, the No. 7 Pacific men's water polo program will head to New Jersey for four matches at DeNunzio Pool, hosted by No. 6 Princeton.
 
The weekend will begin at 9:30 a.m. (PT) Saturday in a matchup against George Washington (3-1). The Tigers (2-0) will face Wagner (3-1) at 5 p.m. (PT) Saturday, No. 17 Navy (5-0) at 7:30 a.m. (PT) Sunday and the host Princeton (3-0) at noon (PT) Sunday.
 
Only the match against Princeton will be streamed and it can be watched on ESPN+.
 
Pacific began the regular season with a 21-11 road win at No. 20 Brown and followed it up with a 15-14 victory at No. 15 Harvard. The Tigers led wire-to-wire in both games and have yet to trail in a match this season.
 
Senior Mihailo Vukazic has scored a team-high six goals, while graduate Matthew Hosmer has scored five. Graduate goalkeeper Bae Fountain has started both games in net and carries a 2-0 record.
 
George Washington is off to a 3-1 start with wins over Mercyhurst, McKendree and Salem. Its only loss was to Princeton 18-3. Pacific is 5-0 all-time against George Washington as the two teams will meet for the first time since 2016.
 
Wagner fell in its season opener to Harvard 17-8 but responded with wins over Iona, Air Force and LIU. Pacific is 2-0 all-time against Wagner with the last meeting coming in 2022.
 
Navy is a perfect 5-0 with victories over Salem, Gannon, Mount St. Mary's, Biola and Occidental. The Tigers are 8-4 all-time against Navy and have won the last three meetings, but the teams have not met since 2014.
 
Princeton opened its season with wins over Biola, Occidental and George Washington. Pacific is 6-3 all-time against Princeton and have won four of the last five meetings.
