Women's Soccer Wraps-Up Week with Home Contest against Cal Poly

STOCKTON, Calif. - In the finale of a three-game homestand, the Pacific women's soccer team hosts Cal Poly at 1 p.m. on Sunday at Knoles Field.

The Tigers (1-3) will host the Mustangs (0-2-2) for the first time since 2016.

"We're looking forward to doing whatever it takes to get a result right now," Pacific co-head coach Danesha Adams said. "It's been a rough stretch, but we have refocused and are ready to go!"

Junior Alexis Pashales leads the Tigers with two goals, four points and seven shots. Graduate student Taylor Curtis paces Pacific with three shots on goal - one of which secured a game-winning goal for Pacific in the 2-1 season-opening victory over Houston Christian.

Sophomore Libby Davy has started all four games in net for the Tigers, totaling 18 saves.

In his 33rd year at the helm of the Mustangs' program, head coach Alex Crozier and Cal Poly enter Sunday's match having played four straight home games to start the 2024 season. Most recently, the Mustangs competed in their first road game of the year at Sacramento State, earning a 0-0 tie.

Pacific and Cal Poly will meet for the 23rd time in series history. The two programs went head-to-head last season with the Mustangs taking a 3-1 victory in San Luis Obispo, California. In that contest, Davy made four saves in the effort defensively.

The game will be streamed on ESPN+ with Dennis Ackerman on the call.
