RIVERSIDE, Calif. -Â Playing in the second of the three straight games away from Knoles Field, the Pacific men's soccer team faces UC Riverside at 7:30 p.m. Sunday at UCR Soccer Stadium.

The game between Pacific (1-1) and UC Riverside (0-2) will not be streamed. The Tigers visit the Highlanders for the fifth all-time meeting between the two programs.
"After a tough cross-country trip where had to deal with quite a bit of adversity, we are anxious to get back at it tomorrow night," head coach
Adam Reeves said. "The guys have worked really hard this week, and I am pleased with where we are at. I am really looking forward to a high energy team that can really impose our identity onto the game."

Jose Maria Barrera leads the Tigers with a goal on a team-high four shots on goal. Barrera scored the game-winner in the second half of a 1-0 victory over UC Davis in the season opener.Â

Senior
Joshua Moya has started both games in net for the Tigers, totaling 13 saves. Moya earned West Coast Conference Defensive Player of the Week following his third career clean sheet in the home-opening win over the Aggies.

The Highlanders began the season with a 5-2 loss at San Diego State and fell in their home opener, 2-1, to Utah Tech, last Thursday.

UC Riverside made the trip to Stockton, California for Pacific's home opener in 2023. The Tigers earned a 1-0 victory behind Moya's first career clean sheet.Â

Pacific owns a 3-1 edge in the series history. Both programs met in the NCAA Tournament First Round in 2018 in Fresno, California with the Tigers winning 1-0. The only visit to Riverside, California came during the 2014 season.
