Tigers Look to Extend Home Streak against UC Davis

STOCKTON, Calif. - The Pacific women's soccer team looks to maintain its momentum at home, hosting UC Davis on Sunday at 1 p.m. at Knoles Field as part of Alumni Weekend.

Pacific (1-1) carries a 15-game non-conference home unbeaten streak into the match. It included a 2-1 win over Houston Christian last week on opening night.

"Our group is really looking forward to getting back at it with this match on Sunday against UC Davis," Pacific co-head coach J.J. Wozniak said. "It was an important week of training, and our staff recognized the intent and work our players put in every day. To play at home in front of our fans following a good week of preparation, there is no better feeling. We all can't wait for Sunday!"

Graduate student Taylor Curtis and junior Alexis Pashales tallied Pacific's goals in the win over Houston Christian. Curtis leads the Tigers with six shots and scored the game-winner off an assist from redshirt junior Ariana Gronauer in the second half on opening night.

Sophomore Libby Davy has started both games in net for the Tigers, totaling seven saves.

The Aggies (2-1), led by sixth-year head coach Tracy Joyner, began the season with a pair of wins - a 2-0 home victory over Sacramento State and a road-opening 2-1 win at San Jose State. Their first loss of the season came against West Coast Conference member LMU last Sunday by a 3-2 score.

In a series going back to 1994, the Tigers and Aggies meet for the 18th time in program history. Pacific won the most recent match during the 2022 season on the road by a 1-0 score.

The game will be streamed on ESPN+ with a 1 p.m. kickoff scheduled at Knoles Field.
