STOCKTON, Calif.- The Pacific volleyball team was selected to tie-fourth in the 2024 West Coast Conference Preseason Poll, and graduate outside hitter Alexa Edwards and senior setter Jenna Heller were both named to the All-WCC Preseason Team.
 
It's the second year in a row the Tigers were voted to tie-fourth in the coaches' poll after being selected to share fourth with Saint Mary's last August. The Tigers finished fourth in 2023 behind a 10-6 record in WCC contests. They posted an 18-11 record overall and garnered their third-straight appearance in the National Invitational Volleyball Championship.
 
Edwards collected her third preseason mention in a row, while Heller joined her for the first time. Both earned spots on the All-WCC First Team in 2023. It's the second time two Tigers were named to the preseason team since returning to the league in 2013. Last season's roster yielded the most since that season, as three Tigers earned recognition after collecting the most wins by a Tiger squad since 2014 in 2022.
 
Both Pacific and Oregon State received 70 points from the league's now 11 coaches, while 2023 WCC Champion Pepperdine claimed the top-spot behind 98 points and eight first place votes.
 
The Tigers kick off their season on the road at the Rebel Challenge tournament in Las Vegas, Nevada as they take on Iowa State on August 30 at 3 p.m.
