STOCKTON, Calif. – A part of a Final Four team at Connors State, Donyae May was added to the 2024-25 Pacific men's basketball roster, announced by head coach Dave Smart.

May is a 6-0, 170 guard from Russellville, Arkansas. He transfers to Pacific after helping Connors State post a 34-4 record including 15-1 in conference last season. The team won the Region 2 Tournament Championship and advanced to the NJCAA Division I Final Four.

May spent two seasons at Connors State and averaged 12.0 points, 6.1 assists and 4.0 rebounds per game last year as a sophomore. He led the conference and ranked top-10 in the nation in both assists and assist:turnover ratio. Additionally, May shot .428 from three-point range.

May was a 2023-24 All-Conference selection and a two-time All-Tournament Team honoree. He'll arrive at Pacific as a junior.

At Russellville High School, May helped lead the Cyclones to four straight conference championships. He was a three-time All-Conference and two-time All-State selection.
May was the Class 5A Player of the Year during his senior campaign. He was also named to the Arkansas Large School West All State Team during his senior season.

May will be pursuing a degree in Media X at Pacific.
