The Tigers (10-43, 4-18 WCC) collected three hits throughout the evening while the Broncos stampeded their offense late in the contest to take game one of the series.

Gabe Camacho went 1-for-3 with a double. Sophomore
Tony Otis and sophomore
Jake Tandy recorded singles in Pacific's effort offensively. Otis collected his seventh stolen base of the season.
Junior
Ethan Shaver made the start for the Tigers, pitching 4.2 innings and allowing five earned runs on five hits while striking out three batters.
Both sides went scoreless until the top of the fifth inning when Santa Clara corralled six runs, including a three-run home run in the frame to take a 6-0 lead.
The Broncos added one more run in the top of the seventh, three more in the top of the eighth and one more in the top of the ninth to cap the scoring at 11-0.
The Tigers return to action at 5 p.m. tomorrow for game two of the series against the Broncos.
