STOCKTON, Calif. – Highlighting the spring off-season with joyous occasion, the Pacific men's water polo team hosted the inaugural Pacific Cup on Saturday and Sunday at the Chris Kjeldsen Pool at the Douglass M. Eberhardt Aquatics Center.
Over the course of the highly entertaining weekend, eight of the top men's water polo teams in the country competed on the Stockton campus.
Pacific played its games against USC, UC Irvine and the USA Youth National Team, showcasing an array of talent in the water. The Tigers fell narrowly to the Trojans, 11-10, but bounced back with a 14-13 victory over the Anteaters. On Sunday, the Tigers put up a spirited performance, but ultimately fell to the USA Youth National Team, 12-9.
Stanford was crowned the 2024 Pacific Cup champions after defeating UCLA, 14-12, in the final game of competition.
Stanford's Griffen Price was named Top Goalie of the Pacific Cup, claiming victory in all three games and earning a perfect 3-0 record.

Mihailo Vukazic was awarded the Top Goal Scorer of the Pacific Cup, collecting a tournament-high 13 goals, including a game-high six goals in the victory over UC Irvine.
