Kansas (17-14, 7-8 Big 12) scored in every inning except the fourth and sixth innings, taking an early lead in the bottom of the first.

Camacho supplied some power at the plate, hitting his team-leading sixth home run of the season in the top of the eighth inning, which featured a five-run rally by the Tigers.
