LA JOLLA, Calif.- The Pacific women's tennis team collected the 4-0 sweep over UC San Diego on the road for its third win of the season.
"It was a good day for us on the courts," head coach
Mike Erwin said. "Our group felt like they let a great opportunity get away at LMU, so it was important for us to come out strong today."
The Tigers lept out to a 1-0 lead, cruising by the Tritons on courts three and one to snatch up the doubles point. Freshman

Liza Mladentseva collected their fifth win together, downing the Tritons 6-2 on court three. Senior
Klara Kosan and junior
Tomi Main captured the doubles point with a 6-2 decision on court one.
Heading into singles Kosan put the Tigers up 2-0 after defeating Ella Pachl 6-3, 6-3 on court one. Mladentseva followed suit from court three after a 6-3, 6-4 win over Katelyn Vu. In her third singles appearance this season for the Tigers, freshman
Indiya McLeod sealed the win with a 7-5, 6-1 victory on court six.
The Tigers return on Sunday, March 3 for their first home match this season. They host San Francisco at the Eve Zimmerman Tennis Center at 11 a.m.
